Dr. Alex Chavez has over twenty-five years of experience in practicing family medicine. He is a member of the American Board of Family Medicine. Chavez attended the University of Michigan School of Medicine where he earned his M.D. He received his residency training in family medicine at the U.S. Naval Hospital located in Jacksonville, Florida. Prior to joining AMM Healthcare, he practiced at the East Carolina Internal Medicine and the Cape Fear Valley Health System. He is licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board. Dr. Chavez is at AMM Healthcare Cary Mondays and Tuesdays and is at JCMC Swansboro Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
